The Multicultural Action Plan 2009–12 (PDF, 132 KB) outlines how the department contributes to the Queensland Government's multicultural policy Multicultural Queensland—a multicultural future for all of us.
Transport services and related information play a vital role in Queensland's diverse community.
Our action plan recognises this important role.
The plan supports priority multicultural objectives identified by Multicultural Affairs Queensland.
Four outcome areas guide the plan:
- cultural competence
- communication and engagement
- access to interpreters
- recruitment and retention.
