Corporate Governance Framework

The Department of Transport and Main Roads is managed in an accountable and responsible way through effective corporate governance which is defined as how the department ‘manages the performance of its functions and operations’.

Our Corporate Governance Framework (PDF, 574 KB) is based on principles from the Public Sector Ethics Act 1994 and the Financial and Performance Management Standard 2009. The principles are the guiding influences on our actions. The principles are delivered through our corporate governance practices.
