Component project methodology

It is common for internal business units to contribute to departmental projects by developing a component of the overall project. The component project process flow diagram  has been developed to provide guidance for components that relate to the generic methodology used by the overall project.

Step by step guidance, flowcharts (at activity and task level) and templates have been developed together with a set of touch points diagrams. These show the interfaces between the overall project and the component project as they move through the four project phases.

The component methodology is divided into four phases, similar to the generic methodology. Each phase has a number of project management and work management activities. Listed below are the phases and activities. For more detailed information select the title link.
