P5.3 Develop implementation strategy

Guidance

The preliminary project plan contained in the business case will have outlined an approach to the project, which provides the starting point for development of the more detailed implementation strategy.

The output of this task is the work breakdown structure. The work breakdown structure can be developed according to phases, activities and tasks. The number of tasks in the work breakdown structure will increase as more information becomes available and risks or uncertainties are mitigated.

The project manager is responsible for this task.
