Materials testing manual
The Materials Testing Manual (MTM) is published to assist Transport and Main Roads in the construction and maintenance of the state road network. The manual provides methods for sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, rocks, bituminous materials, asphalt, cement, concrete, road marking materials and pavements.
Feedback is encouraged and should be emailed or faxed as per the contact details in the MTM cover sheet.
The third edition of the MTM has been published since 1978.
