Standard drawings roads

The Standard Drawings Roads manual is published to assist Transport and Main Roads in the building of the states roads and bridges. It is a collection of the department's most commonly used construction details. These drawings form the basis for the purchase of standard components.

Feedback is encouraged and a feedback form is included.

All drawings that are current up to and including Amendment 35 issued in April 2011 are available from this site. Superseded drawings are not available on this site.

A controlled copy of the manual can be purchased from the Technical publications (details in Publications Order Form).

Drawings on this site have been arranged by Index. Individual drawings can be found by Drawing Title or Drawing Number using the search facility. The department produces interim drawings before the next published amendment. These are drawings which will be given a standard drawing number when the next amendment is produced. They will only be available electronically as further updates may be required depending on their acceptance and feedback. They are to be integrated into project documents as project specific drawings.

Note: The purpose of these drawings is to provide typical standard details. The fitness for purpose of these drawings for a specific project shall be determined and certified by a RPEQ engineer.  Project specific details may be required to be included in the scheme drawings.
