Freight Planning
The Department of Transport and Main Roads has established a Freight Strategy Team (FST) to coordinate strategic freight policy and related project studies and initiatives. This team is providing a stronger focus on trade and the movement of freight, as well as strengthening the links between various road and rail transport projects and achieving stronger inter-agency cooperation.
