Queensland Workplace Rights Ombudsman

The Queensland Workplace Rights Ombudsman, through the Queensland Workplace Rights Office, provides information and advice on legislation affecting workplaces and investigates unfair, illegal or inappropriate workplace actions, particularly in relation to the Federal Government’s WorkChoices legislation.

The Workplace Rights Ombudsman also advises the Queensland Government on strategies to improve protection for vulnerable workers and promote industrial relations best practice in Queensland.
