The Department of Environment and Resource Management
The Department of Environment and Resource Management is responsible for protection of Queensland's natural and cultural heritage and promotion of sustainable use of natural resources. Queensland Climate Change Centre of Excellence
The centre is a specialist whole-of-government unit based within the Office of Climate Change, Environmental Protection Agency. The unit provides decision makers throughout Queensland with policy advice, information and scientific data on climate change and its impact on the community, the economy and the environment.

Department of Energy and Water Supply: Ethanol
The Queensland Government provides information to motorists to increase consumer knowledge about the benefits of fuel ethanol.

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change is an international treaty developed to address climate change. The Kyoto Protocol* is an addition to the convention that contains legally binding targets for reduced greenhouse gas emissions.

Transport, Health and Environment Pan-European Program*
The Transport, Health and Environment Pan-European Program aims to achieve more sustainable transport patterns through policy development. The site contains a wealth of information regarding the integration of transport, environment and health policies.
