State Planning Instruments Program
The State Planning Instruments Program commenced on 1 July 2010 and establishes an ongoing program for articulating state interests through state planning instruments. Under the program the Department of Transport and Main Roads may be a lead agency with primary responsibility for preparing, implementing and administering a state planning instrument.
Currently, the Department of Transport and Main Roads is the lead agency for preparing the following state planning instruments:
The Department of Transport and Main Roads is also reviewing State Planning Policy 1/02: Development in the Vicinity of Certain Aviation Facilities and Airports.
