The Department of Transport and Main Roads is responsible for building, maintaining and operating transport infrastructure across Queensland, including the state's road network. There are Program Delivery and Operations regional roads offices throughout Queensland that manage works in their local area.

To get information about a road in your area, use our road lookup service to find out who is responsible—some are managed by local councils. You can report damage or an issue on a state-controlled road over the phone or through an online form.
