Extending from Goondiwindi on the Queensland-New South Wales Border to Toowoomba in the east, through to Miles in the west and Wandoan in the north.

About Darling Downs Region

Area:  77,413 sq km.
Population: Around 228,000.
Industries: Grain, cotton, cattle, wool, fruit, tourism, freight, natural resources (gas and coal).
