The Fitzroy Region extends from Gladstone and Yeppoon in the east coast to west of Emerald, and from Miriam Vale in the south to Marlborough in the north.

Area:  177,582 sq km.
Population: Around 210,500.
Industries:  Mining, cotton, grain, cattle, citrus, grapes.
