Replacing a licence when interstate or overseas

If you are a Queensland resident temporarily living interstate or overseas and your Queensland driver licence has been lost, stolen, destroyed or defaced, you can apply for a replacement driver licence by printing and completing the driver licence replacement kit (PDF, 1.02 MB).

This kit contains instructions on how to replace your licence and includes the forms you need to complete.

Note: If you are no longer a resident of Queensland you need to contact the driver licensing authority in the state, territory, or country where you now reside to obtain a driver licence.
