Updated to reflect recent amendments to Schedule 1 of the Transport Operations (Passenger Transport) Standard 2010. 1. The maximum age for a heavy vehicle bus that is an open classification vehicle has been changed from 15 to 25 years, and 2. The minimum age a heavy vehicle bus that is an open, regional or local classification vehicle may have an application for a 5 year life extension made has been changed from 13 to 18 years. Please note: the identification numbering of vehicle standards information bulletins is changing from VSA to VS (Vehicle Standards) for consistency. |
