July 2016

From Thursday 7 July to Wednesday 13 July 2016, the Station Road intersection will be closed due to additional works on the D’Aguilar Highway near R Williams Road and Station Road. Gamgee Road (west) will be reopened to allow local access for residents to Gamgee Road and Meurant Road.

Works are scheduled for approximately 1 week, weather permitting.

Following completion of the works, both intersections will be re-opened for local traffic. As finishing works along the D’Aguilar Highway continue, short term closures of the intersections will be required to complete sealing and line-marking. Detour signage will be in place for motorists.

Outside of general working hours roadworks signals will operate on an automated timed system in both directions of the D’Aguilar Highway and on R Williams Road. During general working hours (7am–5pm, Monday to Friday) traffic controllers will vary the time given to either direction according to the traffic flow at the time.
