Pedestrians
The pedestrians public education campaign launched in February 1998. The objective of the campaign was to raise awareness of pedestrian safety, and to encourage motorists to exercise caution when driving in areas where pedestrians are likely to be walking. This pedestrians public education campaign was one of the first road safety promotions in Australia that aimed to educate people about the dangers of drink walking.
