Passenger Transport Infrastructure Program

All public transport services are subject to the Commonwealth Disability Standards for Accessible Public Transport 2002* (the standards). This includes bus stop infrastructure for suburban and long-distance bus services.

As part of the department's regional infrastructure program, we are assisting councils in meeting their obligations under the standards.
