Dakabin Station Analysis report

The Queensland Government is committed to the effective planning of transport infrastructure to meet current and future demand, prioritising requirements of Queensland’s transport network.

To understand current and future demands for rail infrastructure, a South East Queensland rail prioritisation study is underway, to provide an investment program for station upgrades.

Dakabin station was identified as a station for investigation as part of this study.

The Dakabin Station Analysis report reviews the current state of the station, and provides a list of options that could be considered to improve the station’s accessibility, car parking capacity, amenities and linkages to the wider public transport network. Please note that no funding or timeline for construction has been allocated to Dakabin station at this time.

The Dakabin Station Analysis report also looks at the possibility of relocating the station to north of Alma Road, rather than upgrading the current station.
