Project Management Policy
The Department of Transport and Main Roads project management policy mandates use of the OnQ project management framework on all projects, including corporate and capital infrastructure projects. It also allows for PRINCE2 interoperability with OnQ on ICT project components. The framework provides a component application of the OnQ methodology for projects to use in interacting with their component projects. This provides information on the communication processes necessary between a controlling project and its component project throughout all 4 phases of the OnQ project lifecycle. It can be applied to ICT component projects utilising the "touchpoint" concept.
