Pacific Motorway, Exit 41, upgrade interchange

The Yatala South (Exit 41) interchange upgrade on the Pacific Motorway (M1) has resulted in significant enhancements to safety and traffic flow in the area.

A number of safety benefits have been delivered for motorists using the M1 and the surrounding local road network, including Lahrs Road, Eastern Service Road, Computer Road, and Cuthbert Drive. 

The upgrade has improved access conditions for freight movements, making it easier and more reliable for heavy vehicles to navigate the interchange. As a result, traffic is now able to move more smoothly, thereby reducing congestion and queuing and transit times for all users of the motorway has improved.

This flythrough demonstrates some of the features of the planned upgrade, including:

  • removing existing roundabouts and replacing them with signalised intersections to allow traffic to flow more efficiently
