May Downs Road, pave and seal

May Downs Road is the main east-west vital link connector for local commodities, primary producers and the mining sector between eastern centres and Bowen Basin mining communities along the Fitzroy Developmental Road.

A 5km section of May Downs Road, from Carfax Road to Pomegranate Creek Bridge has been sealed to a width of 8m to improve safety, efficiency and wet weather access for all road users.
