Natural disaster assistance

To help Queenslanders affected by the recent severe weather in Northern and Central Queensland, check your eligibility and apply for natural disaster assistance.

Transport and motoring assistance may also be available.

Visit the Queensland Reconstruction Authority website for details about current activations.

The Department of Transport and Main Roads Queensland values your feedback. We aim to respond as quickly as possible. In most cases, this will be within 15 working days. If your issue is complex or involves a human rights complaint, a more detailed investigation may be needed. This may take up to 45 working days and we will keep you informed of the progress, if needed.

If your request is urgent, call 13 23 80 | Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 4.30pm, excluding public holidays.
