Properties for rent

The department has a range of properties for lease. For more information call our Property Management area on 1800 424 132 or email proplease@tmr.qld.gov.au.

Our residential properties are rented through the standard tenancy conditions under the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008.

Our state-managed harbours are leased in accordance with the department’s State-managed Boat Harbour Leasing Policy and supporting State-managed Boat Harbour Rent and Fee Schedule.

Residential tenancy application

To apply to rent a departmental property, read the General Tenancy Agreement and fill out the Residential Tenancy Application form. For a copy of the form contact us on 1800 424 132 or at proplease@tmr.qld.gov.au.

The department will then check relevant references, such as previous landlord and employment references (if applicable) and search a tenancy database for defaulting tenants.

State-managed boat harbours application

The department leases land and grants other forms of access or tenure to its state-boat harbours in accordance with its State-managed Boat Harbour Leasing Policy and State-managed Boat Harbour Rent and Fee Schedule.

The department’s state-managed boat harbours include Bowen, Cabbage Tree Creek, Manly, Mooloolaba, Redcliffe Marina, Rosslyn Bay, Scarborough, Snapper Creek and Urangan.
