Project info

The $3.4 million park 'n' ride upgrade project is part of a staged approach to deliver customer improvements at Cannon Hill station.

To provide greater facilities and accessibility to public transport services, TMR will deliver around 80 extra car parks along with new lighting, CCTV and upgraded pedestrian facilities.

The construction tender was awarded on 29 August 2019 and construction started early October 2019.

This project is part of a transformation of the Cannon Hill station precinct and will occur ahead of Queensland Rail’s station upgrade. Once the park 'n' ride upgrade is completed next year, the Cannon Hill station upgrade project will begin.
