Logan Road and Marada Street intersection upgrade

Overview:

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is currently investigating safety improvements for the Logan Road and Marada Street intersection in Upper Mount Gravatt.

As the Logan Road and Marada Street intersection has experienced a high number of accidents, works will be undertaken to improve safety for all road users.

Location:

Benefits:

This project will improve motorist safety at the intersection by proposing to close the centre median on Logan Road at Marada Street, converting the intersection to left-in left-out only, and prevent motorists crossing 3 lanes of oncoming traffic.

Funding:

The Queensland Government has committed $942,000 to design and construct the Logan and Marada Street intersection, Upper Mount Gravatt as detailed in the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program 2019-20 to 2022-23.

Regions:
