Mount Lindesay Highway: Rosia Road to Stoney Camp Interchange


The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is upgrading the Mount Lindesay Highway between Rosia and Stoney Camp Roads at Park Ridge South.

The upgrade will involve widening the highway to 4 lanes between Rosia Road and Stoney Camp Road and improving the on-ramp at Stoney Camp Road and the off-ramp at Granger Road.

The Queensland Government is funding this important $20 million safety improvement project.

The Mount Lindesay Highway Rosia Road to Stoney Camp Road Upgrade will involve:

  • widening the highway alignment to 4 lanes
  • upgrading the Highway’s water run-off infrastructure
  • upgrading the on-ramp at Stoney Camp Road and the off-ramp at Granger Road
  • safety improvements including upgrading the barriers. 

Further safety upgrades of the Mount Lindesay Highway will be delivered in priority stages as funding becomes available. 

Key milestones

  • Mid to late 2018: Detailed design and community consultation
  • Early to mid-2019: Service relocations, construction procurement
  • Mid-late 2019: Start construction
  • Late 2020: Complete construction
