Project info

The Victoria Point Central bus station will deliver improved safety and efficiency for passengers while improving travel times and service reliability.

Once complete, the new bus station will provide bus platforms either side of Cleveland-Redland Bay Road, between Bunker Road and the Victoria Point Shopping Centre and TownCentre Victoria Point access roads.

The Victoria Point Central bus station will include 2 new sheltered platforms with capacity for 6 buses, improved lighting and security cameras, and new bicycle storage and bus driver facilities. The new station will also increase capacity, accommodating future demand for services.

Construction of the new station will commence from late November 2018 and is expected to be completed by late 2019, construction and weather conditions permitting.

Bus services to the current station on Bunker Road will not be affected by construction works. Buses will continue to operate as normal until the new station is complete. Once completed, there will be changes to bus services to connect with the new station. TransLink will notify bus passengers about changes to local bus services closer to the opening of the new station.
