Victoria Point Central bus station

Overview:

The Department of Transport and Main Roads has completed construction of the new Victoria Point Central bus station on Cleveland-Redland Bay Road.

Victoria Point, Redland City.

December 2019.

Project info

The new Victoria Point bus station is located on Cleveland-Redland Bay Road, between Bunker Road and the access roads to Victoria Point Shopping Centre and TownCentre Victoria Point. The new centralised location will improve travel times and service reliability for passengers.
The station has two new sheltered bus platforms either side of Cleveland Redland Bay Road and will cater for up to six buses. This increased capacity will accommodate for future demand for services. 

The new station has new bicycle storage and bus driver facilities. Passenger safety and efficiency has been improved through better lighting and security cameras and is compliant with the Disability Discrimination Act. 

Construction commenced in November 2018 and the new Victoria Point bus station was opened for use in mid-December 2019.
