Waterford–Tamborine Road: North Street intersection

Overview:

The Department of Transport and Main Roads is upgrading the intersection of Waterford–Tamborine Road and North Street intersection which will improve traffic flow and safety for all road users.

Location:

Waterford—Tamborine Road between Anzac Avenue and Hotz Road and North Street at Logan Village.

Benefits:
These works will provide a number of benefits including reduced travel times and safety for motorists, cater for future traffic growth by providing improved public and active transport facilities.
Funding:

The Queensland Government is funding $11 million (which includes $3.03 million in developer contributions) for this project as outlined in the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program 2019-20 to 2022-23.

Project info

Traffic signals are now operational. 

Some traffic restrictions remain in place while construction around the intersection is finalised.
