Bicycle education

An image of police officers interacting with eager young cyclists

As children grow older, they need to learn how to ride on paths and roads without parental supervision.

A practical bike education program provides a safe and controlled learning environment in which children can learn riding skills, road rules and how to identify hazards in the environment where they cycle.

Bike education can be provided through schools and community groups. Contact your local road safety advisor for further information.
