Transport and Main Roads Revit to IFC export pack
The Transport and Main Roads (TMR) Revit to IFC export pack contains a Revit Schedule defining departmental parameters and a corresponding User Defined Parameter Set file. The parameter definitions in the schedule align with the TMR BIM model element attributes for bridges. When the schedule is inserted into a new Revit project it automatically attaches TMR parameters to bridge element families as they are created/placed into the project. Parameter values for all elements can then be assigned through the schedule provided. Definition for Revit Categories, IFC Classes and Types are provided in the how to notes. Once the Revit project has values assigned to the shared parameters, the User Defined Parameter Set file enables export of the parameters into tabulated property sets from Revit to IFC.
The TMR Revit to IFC export pack is available for download and use by external designers performing structural design and BIM data capture for the Department of Transport and Main Roads Queensland.
