The Department of Transport and Main Roads provides a description of the boundary of all declared taxi service areas in southern Queensland.

| Bundaberg | The Bundaberg taxi service area starts at the mouth of the Burnett River, follows the river upstream to Fairymead Road and then west to Hoods Road, Meadowvale Road and onto Heales Road. It then follows Heales Road south Ten Mile Road and Manoo Road. The area extends east along Usshers Road to the intersection with Gin Gin Road, goes along Gin Gin Road south-west and then due south to Bingera Weir Road. At the intersection with Walkers Road, the boundary heads east to the intersection with Childers Road. From this intersection it follows a straight line east to the intersection of the north coast railway line and the Elliott River and then follows the river to its mouth and along the foreshore of Hervey Bay. | Bundaberg taxi service map return to top |
| Charleville* | From the intersection of Charleville-Adavale Road and Frawley Street head west along Frawley Street for 1.5km to Cook Street. Then south along Cook Street for 1.5km then proceed southwest and south over to Howitt Street and continue for 1.5km over Jupp Street to an unnamed road. Then west over Mitchell Street and the Warrego River and continue on to Old Cunnamulla Road. Then go east onto the western railway line and then north along the line for 400m to the intersection of Pine and Cobb Streets. Then east along Pine Street for 700m to the Graham Andrews Parklands and Recreation Complex. Then travel in a line east following 200m off of the Mitchell Highway for 500m until you are opposite the Cosmos Centre. In a line heading North East cross over the Mitchell Highway for 300m past the Cosmos Centre and then in a north-easterly line for 1.2km to the railway line, then go east along the railway line for 1.5km to the Dalgety Siding. Then continue northeast for 1km to the cul-de-sac at the end of Murweh Drive. Then in a line north-westerly for 1.5km to the intersection of Alfred Street and Wellwater Road. | Childers* | From the Bruce Highway and Goodwood Roads intersection south of Childers along Goodwood Road to the entrance of the Isis Golf Club. Then in a line west of the golf club to Rankin Road. North along Rankin Road to the intersection Rankin Road of Doolbi Dam Road. Then in a line west of from the intersection of Doolbi Dam Road and Rankin Road to Mungomery Street. Along Mungomery Street, Oakes Street, including 100m of Harvey Street to the intersection with North Isis Road. The area extends west up North Isis Road for 100m. From the North Isis Road and Oakes Street intersection in a line south west to the Bruce Highway encompassing Dinnie, William, Murray and Thomas Streets. Along the Bruce Highway towards Apple Tree Creek to an unnamed road on the left hand side 1.3km from Broadhurst Street (Isis Highway). Along the unnamed road to the dog leg then in a line east towards the Isis Highway. Out south along the Isis Highway for 1.5km including Morgan and Ginns Streets and Delaney Court. Then from the corner of Isis Highway (Broadhurst Street) and Thompson Road east along Thompson Road to the intersection of Butchers Road. | Chinchilla* | Commencing from the intersection of the Warrego Highway and Dawson Gates Road, north along Dawson Gates Rd to Chinchilla-Wondai Road, north along Chinchilla-Wondai Road to Monmouth Bridge Road, then north to Dahlers Road, then west along Dahlers Road to Auburn Road, and then in a line from the intersection of Auburn Road and Dahlers Road, south west to the intersection of the Warrego Highway and Rubbish Dump Road. | Crows Nest* | Commencing from the junction of Kanowski Road and New England Highway, follow New England Highway northward to Charles Street, then follow Charles Street eastward to its terminus. Travel in a northward straight line to Three Mile Road, from where the boundary then follows the line of Salty Water Creek in a westerly direction, crossing over Dale Street and Nielsen Street. From the junction of Nielsen and Blinco Streets, the boundary extends to the northern boundary of the cemetery, connecting with Pierces Creek Road. After following Pierces Creek Road northward to its junction with Back Creek Road, proceed in a south-westerly direction in a straight line to the terminus of Devoncourt Road. Follow Devoncourt Road to its junction with Devoncourt Lane, and then proceed along Devoncourt Lane to its terminus, then in a straight line south to Crows Nest Creek. The boundary line then follows Crows Nest Creek, crossing over Leahy Road and connecting with New England Highway at the entrance to Lot 2, New England Hwy, Crows Nest. Then proceed eastward along New England Highway to the entrance to 29/7265 Meitland Street, Crows Nest, then head south in a straight line to Widderick Road. | Cunnamulla* | From the intersection of the Mitchell Highway (to Charleville) and Marry Street head west for 730m to North Street, along North Street to the intersection at Old Charleville Road. Then north along Old Charleville Road for 1.5km to you reach a 'T' intersection at an unnamed road. Then in a line west for 400m over to the Warrego River. Proceed in a line south along the Warrego River for 4km over Louise Street until you are opposite the end of Ivan Street. From there, the boundary goes in a Southeast line and continues over Weir Road, Wicks and Broad Streets for 500m to the show grounds. | Dalby | Beginning at the corner of Blaxland Rd and Oakwood St South, continue north along Oakwood St North to Dalby Cooyar Rd. Continue northwest 0.72km to the bend in the Bunya Highway, near Dalby Hospital. Travel slightly north of west (parallel to Knight St) 1.27km to a point in line with Volker St, then slightly east of north to the end of Volker St. Turn slightly north of west (parallel to Knight St) and travel 1.83km. Travel in a straight line (slightly west of south) to where the Dalby Jandowae Rd crosses the rail line. Travel southwest in a straight line to the intersection of Watts St and Yumborra Rd. | Gayndah* | From the intersection on the eastern side of Gayndah of the Burnett Highway and Tableland Road. South along Tableland Road for half a kilometre to an unnamed road. In a line south west along the unnamed road to Nanango Street, then towards town along Nanango Street to the intersection of Montgomerie Street. Out in a southerly direction along Montgomerie Street to the intersection with South Street. Along South Street to Naylor Street including an area on the south side of the street 100m either side of Wigton Road, and 100m deep along Wigton Road. From the intersection of South and Naylor streets, north along Naylor to the intersection with Arthur Street. Then west along Arthur Street to the intersection with Iron Street. Then north along Iron Street to the Burnett River. East along the Burnett River to Bushell Street. North along Bushell Street across the Burnett Highway and the rail line to Oxford Street. North along Oxford for one kilometre then a line south east to the intersection of Fairview and High Streets, then in line north east to Rifle Range Road. Follow Rifle Range Road to Richards Road. | Goondiwindi | Beginning at the Macintyre River at a point directly below Riverview Terrace, head in a northerly direction to the intersection of Goodar Road and the Barwon Highway, taking in Brennans Road and Town Common Road. Head north east to the intersection of Polo Road and the Leichhardt Highway. Head north on the Leichhardt Highway for 1km and head east to Hensler Road. Head east along Hensler Road to Glen Oak Road , cross the Cunningham Highway travelling along Virginia Street. Continue in an easterly direction to Piggy Piggy Creek and follow Piggy Piggy Creek south to Mooroobie Lane. Follow Mooroobie Lane in a south westerly direction to Kildonan Road. | Gympie | The south western boundary commences at the intersection of Marys Creek Road and Cross Road then runs eastwards, turning south into Eel Creek Road, then eastwards into Mooloo Road. The boundary then continues southwards to Gibson Road, across in an eastwards line, bordering on the Amamoor State Forest boundary, continuing east along to the intersection of Dagun Road and Mary Valley Road, then in a line across the Mary River to the Matilda service station on the Bruce Highway. | Kingaroy | Beginning at the intersection of the Bunya Highway and Toomeys Rd, continue northeast along the Bunya Highway to Lankowskis Rd. Turn right into Lankowskis Rd and travel east to Kingaroy Cooyar Rd. Follow Kingaroy Cooyar Rd north to Peterson Drive and then continue east down Peterson Drive to Ushers Rd. Travel north along Ushers Rd to the Daguilar Highway, turn right into the Daguilar Highway and then left into Redmans Rd. Continue along Redmans Rd onto Kingaroy Barkers Creek Rd and then onto Shellbacks Rd. From Shellbacks Rd turn left into Haydens Rd and then right into Booie Crawford Rd. Follow this until turning left into Millers Rd, past Belair Dr and then left into Birt Rd. Continue west along Birt Rd to the Bunya Highway, follow this southeast to Siefert St, down Siefert St and then turn west into Kingaroy Crawford Gordonbrook Rd. | Mitchell* | From the intersection of Waroonga–Tooloombilla Road and the Warrego Highway head west for 500m to Louise Street. | Monto* | From the intersection of the Burnett Highway and Three Moon creek near the camping reserve follow Three Moon creek in a south westerly direction until it intersects with Monto airport road near the bowling club. From this intersection continue to follow the creek in a south easterly direction for a distance of 250m only, behind the racecourse, then head directly east in a line 950m until it intersects with the Burnett Highway on the south side of Monto. Follow the Burnett Highway north for 850 m to the intersection with Luthtje Road. Turn right onto Luthje road and proceed for 380m to the intersection with Edison Street, turn into Edison street and proceed north to the end and the intersection with Gladstone Monto road. From this point draw a line in a north westerly direction for 900m to join up with the Monal creek. | Mundubbera* | From the intersection of the Burnett Highway and Mundubbera-Durong Road south for 50 m and then in a line south easterly for 500m. From this position, east of Frank McCauley Street, in a line south down to Ezzy Road. Along Ezzy Road to the intersection with Frank McCauley Street then along Frank McCauley Street to the intersection with Flinders and Bass Streets. Along Bass Street to the railway line then in a line south over the railway line to McIndoes Road and continuing south along Mitchell Street to the Burnett River. Follow the Burnett River in a westerly direction parallel to the railway line for 2km. Then in a line north west to Coonambula Road. Then follow Coonambula Road to the intersection with Brownings Lane. | Murgon* | The taxi service area starts from the Gayndah Road rail level crossing to the Bunya Highway, along the Highway to Rose Street. It runs along Rose Street across Thorn Street and Murgon Creek, then runs east along the outside of Ferris Road to Piggery Road, bounded by the railway line. The area then runs south east along McLucas Street and crosses Ashton Street, going as far as Barambah Creek. It follows the creek around, then goes north to Lamb Street before running to Cherbourg Road approximately 1km from the Bunya Highway intersection. From Cherbourg Road, it follows Sawpit Creek across the Bunya Highway to Burtons Road under the railway line, continuing as Bottle Tree Creek to Wallace Street. | Nanango* | From the D'Aguilar Highway south of Nanango at the intersection with Bucklands Road, along Bucklands Road, then west across Nanango Tarong Road south of Majors Road to connect with Nanango Brooklands Road. From there the boundary turns north east along Nanango Brooklands Road to Parsons Road then north along Parsons Road. | Oakey* | Commencing from the intersection of the Oakey-Biddeston Road and Warrego Highway, proceed along Warrego Highway to the junction with Hamlyn Road. Proceed northward along Hamlyn Road, crossing Bridge Street and continue in a northerly straight line, running parallel with Gladsby Street to Oakey Kelvinhaugh Road. Proceed west along Oakey Kelvinhaugh Road to Orr Road, and then proceed northward along Orr Road to the property boundary at 59 Orr Road. Proceed in an eastward straight line to Blake Road, and then proceed south along Blake Road to Sexton Weise Road. Follow Sexton Weise Road to Showgrounds Road and then proceed south in a straight line, crossing Speed Road and extending to Oakey Creek. | Pittsworth* | Commencing from the southern end of Spring Street, head north to Weale Street, following Weale Street north to where it meets with the Pittsworth-Felton Road. Continue in a northerly line to cross the Toowoomba Road and then continue in a northerly line to the Gore Highway. Head west along the Gore Highway, crossing the intersection with Dohlmann Road and Helens Street. From the intersection, continue along the Gore Highway until reaching a point directly north of 92 Hausler Road Pittsworth, then head south, crossing Hausler Road at Number 92 Hausler Road (enclosing number 92) to Yandilla Street. Continue east along Yandilla Street to Wattle Street then continue south along Wattle Street, in a line beyond the end of Wattle Street until intersecting with a line drawn as an extension of Grevillea Street. Proceed eastward to, and along Grevillea Street, including both sides of Grevillea Street to Golf Course Road. | Rainbow Beach* | From the coast line at the eastern end of Pacific Boulevard, west along Pacific Boulevard to the intersection with Inskip Avenue. Then south along Inskip Avenue to Karoonda Road, continue south on Karoonda Road to the intersection with Carlo Road. West along Carlo Road to the intersection with Warooga Street, along Warooga Street into Koolyangarra Road to the intersection with Kurrawa Drive. | Roma | From the intersection of Tiffin Street and Bowen Street head north for 1.5km to East Miscamble Street and continue in a northerly line to the intersection of Edwards Street and McPhie Street. From the intersection of McPhie Street and Edwards Street head west over the Warrego Highway to Currey Street and go south along Currey Street to the intersection at Dargal Road, then west along Dargal Road for 500m before then heading in a line for 2.3km south over Raglan Street and onto Corfe Road. Then travel 1.2km east along Corfe Road over Currey Street to the intersection of Corfe Road and Duke Street. Then south along Duke Street South for 1km to the intersection at Geoghegan Road. Travel east for 1km along Geoghegan Road to the intersection at Charles Street South, then head north along Charles Street South for 1km to the intersection at Corfe Road and turn right. | St George* | From the intersection of Grey Street and Author Street head north easterly for 2.1km along Author Street and onto the St George–Thuraggi Road until you reach a 'T' intersection, then in a line north westerly 1.5km to the Carnarvon Highway. Head north along the Carnarvon Highway for 3.6km to the J.E. Kelly Road. Then in a north westerly line for 300m to the Balonne River and follow the Balonne River heading back east for 8.5km to the Riversands Vineyards. From there head east for 600 m and then north for 700 m onto Mitchell Street. | Stanthorpe | Beginning at the intersection of Wallangarra Rd and the New England Highway, travel north along Wallangarra Rd 0.64km to the access road crossing the railway line. Turn east at this road and continue in the direction of the access road for 0.91km to reach Hale Haven Drive. Follow Hale Haven Drive for 0.6km, then turn south for 0.18km, then continue in an easterly direction and parallel to Lees Mountain Rd to intersect with Rifle Range Rd. Continue north along Rifle Range Rd to Eukey Rd, and then follow Eukey Rd northwest to the trainline. On the northern side of the railway line, continue in an arc to intersect with Quart Pot Creek 0.1km west of the railway line. Follow Quart Pot Creek northeast to a point directly in line with Edith Street. From here continue in a straight line to a point half way between Edith St and Fairway Cres, on Stanthorpe Amosfield Rd. | Tara* | From the intersection of Showground Road and Sara Street head in a westerly line for 660m over Undulla Creek and onto the intersection of Baddleys Road and Old Hospital Road. Then travel south along Baddleys Road for 400m to the intersection at Bilton Stand head in a westerly line for 300m. Then in a southerly line for 290m onto the Surat Development Road and then west for a further 150m. Then south for 400m, then turn and head in an easterly direction for 290m onto an unnamed road. Travel south along this unnamed road for 1km to the intersection at another unnamed road. From there travel in a easterly direction over the intersections of the unnamed road and Roaches Road and north for 80m to another intersection of Roaches Road and an unnamed road, then travel east along the unnamed road for 550m across Payne Street and Fry Street and continue east in a line for a further 550m. | Warwick | Starting at the north of Warwick, commencing from the intersection of the Cunningham Highway and Womina-Willowvale Road, travel in a northerly direction along Womina-Willowvale Road until the junction with Free Road, and then along Free Road in a westerly direction until the junction with Boundary Road and then south along Boundary Road. Continue west for 2.5km along Boundary Road/Mullins Road. At intersection head south until the junction with the Allora-Warwick Road. Head west until the junction with Lyndhurst Lane, head south along Lyndhurst Lane to Cunningham Highway, and then west along the Cunningham Highway until Washpool Road. Turn left into Washpool Road travelling south until Warner Street, turn left into Warner Street travelling East until Lyndhurst Lane, turn right into Lyndhurst Lane and then south along Lyndhurst Lane until the junction with Thornton Road and then in an easterly direction along Thornton Road until the junction with Smelter Road, and then east along Smelter Road. Continue on a line straight on from Smelter Road, to Rosenthal Road. From this point on Rosenthal Road, head on a line east to the junction of Old Stanthorpe Road and Dead Horse Lane, then in a north easterly direction along Dead Horse Lane to Donavan Road and then north along Donavan Road to the junction with Canningvale Road, and then east along Canningvale Road (for 1.6km) to the intersection of Canningvale Road and Braithwaites Crossing Road. Head on a line north until the junction with Lonsdale Road and Warwick/Yangan Road and then west along the Warwick/Yangan Road till the junction with Mt Tabor Road and then north along Mt Tabor Road into Robinson Road. | Wondai* | From the intersection of Racecourse Road, Simpsons Road and the railway easement, follow Racecourse Road to its intersection with Cherbourg Road. Travel east along Cherbourg Road for 330 m. From this point the boundary runs south for 325m towards Yellow Waterhole Creek then heads west again parallel to Cherbourg Road behind Wondai State School and connects into the end of Kent Street. The boundary continues in a straight line from the end of Kent street to Rifle Range Road where it turns and heads south east for 220m to just past Wondai Hospital. From the boundary of the hospital the taxi boundary turns 90 degrees and heads across to the end of Scott Street and continues on in a westerly direction, crossing Old Charlestown Road, for 1.75km to Wondai Charlestown Road. The boundary then follows Wondai Charlestown Road back towards town to the intersection with Mackenzie Street and the railway line. It then follows the railway line easement and the Bunya Highway southwest for 550m to an intersection with an unnamed Road. It follows the unnamed Road in a northerly direction for 550m to its intersection with Greenview Road. The boundary turns left at this intersection and continues along Greenview Road to the intersection with Hines Road, it continues northerly along Hines Road to the intersection with Warren Court. At this intersection the boundary turns right and heads easterly for 1.7km to the intersection with the Bunya Highway opposite the Sportsground and golf club. The boundary continues in an easterly direction through the Sportsground running parallel to Dingo Creek for the next 900m when it then turns and connects with the railway easement and Simpsons Road.
