Standard drawings

Standard Drawings are to assist Transport and Main Roads in the building of the states roads and bridges. It is a collection of the department's most commonly used construction drawings. The purpose of these drawings is to provide typical standard details. The fitness for purpose of these drawings for a specific project shall be determined and certified by a RPEQ engineer.

Public domain steel barrier systems must not be used on new projects or installations within the departmental road network. This change aligns Queensland with other Australian states and territories and complies with AS/NZS 3845. To enable maintenance of existing public domain steel barrier systems, for repairs and replacements without the full system being impacted, view the withdrawn drawings.
