The policies and strategies that guide our work

Queensland is home to the nation’s second largest Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population. The Queensland Government is committed to a new way of working with First Nations peoples to achieve better life outcomes in health, education, employment and housing. Work delivered by the Department of Transport and Main Roads is firmly aligned with the Queensland Government's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander policies and strategies.
