Yarrabah Jetty project

Design is progressing on the project to construct a new jetty at Yarrabah.

The proposed jetty will be located at Gribble Point in Mission Bay, adjacent to the town boat ramp, about 1km west of the Yarrabah township. The jetty will be about 165m long.

Works on a shelter, upgraded BBQ area and toilet facilities located near the jetty were completed in January 2020.

Current status

Transport and Main Roads is working closely with Yarrabah Aboriginal Shire Council, and local traditional owners throughout planning, design and delivery of the project.
