Birkdale train station, park ‘n’ ride expansion, business case

The department is planning to expand the park ‘n’ ride at Birkdale station. The business case started in early 2021 and is currently underway.

This project will make it easier for customers to access public transport, which will reduce road congestion in the local area.

It will increase the number of car parks available and provide safer pedestrian access to the station.
