Bowen Developmental Road (Collinsville – Belyando Crossing), Deception Creek to Bulgonunna Creek, pave and seal
The Bowen Developmental Road forms the arterial link between the Queensland coast and the northern Bowen Basin, as well as linking the northern and central Bowen Basin coal mines and towns. This project further improves the condition and safety of the Bowen Developmental Road after sealing was completed between Rockingham Creek and Mount Coolon in April 2021.

The project provides an 8m wide sealed bitumen road and replace ageing and damaged culvert structures, upgrades signage and improves the overall condition and safety of the Bowen Developmental Road.
As well as improving road safety, the project also improves travel speeds, overall road reliability during wet weather and caters to increasing traffic volumes.
