Bowen Developmental Road sealing - Rockingham Creek to Mount Coolon

The Bowen Developmental Road sealing project is being delivered as part of the Northern Australia Roads Program. Sealing of the Bowen Developmental Road between Rockingham Creek and Mount Coolon will improve safety and productivity by providing an 8m sealed roadway with adequate road shoulder.

The project consists of 3 sections of unsealed road (25.7km) separated by sealed floodways between Collinsville and Mount Coolon, frequently used by heavy vehicles associated with mining and agricultural operations.

The project will provide an 8m wide sealed bitumen road and replace ageing and damaged culvert structures, including line marking and signage.

This project is 1 of 10 projects being delivered in Queensland under the Northern Australia Roads Program.
