Bruce Highway—Collingvale dual overtaking lanes

A package of work that will build 2 new overtaking lanes is being delivered on the Bruce Highway between Proserpine and Bowen near Collingvale Road.

Northbound and southbound overtaking lanes are being delivered at Collingvale Road, 16km north of Proserpine. This will involve widening, drainage works, rehabilitation of the existing road and upgrading a nearby truck-stopping bay.

The overtaking lanes will be constructed at the same time, reducing the overall duration of the project and minimising impacts to road users.
