Bruce Highway—Plentiful Creek overtaking lane

TMR has delivered a $10.934 million package of works that constructed two new overtaking lanes north of Rockhampton, at Plentiful Creek. This project was identified as part of the program of works to reduce the number of fatal and serious injury crashes on the Bruce Highway.

TMR has delivered a package of works that will provide critical safety benefits to motorists and ensure the highway can cater for future traffic growth. It will also improve driver safety by reducing driver frustration, improving overtaking opportunities and travel times and increasing freight efficiency and heavy vehicle management.
