Cairns Western Arterial Road, Loridan Drive intersection upgrade planning

The Department of Transport and Main Roads is progressing a $550,000 planning project to investigate possible upgrades at the intersection of Cairns Western Arterial Road and Loridan Drive.

This planning will develop and assess feasible upgrade options and review and update previous planning undertaken by TMR. Once the most suitable solution is identified, TMR will develop a business case to support future funding submissions.

Construction of an identified solution is currently unfunded.
