Accelerated funding has been allocated through the following Road Stimulus Packages to increase investment in roads and transport infrastructure as part of The Queensland Economic Recovery Strategy.
Carnarvon Highway (Injune - Rolleston) and Arcadia Valley Road, upgrade intersection
The Roads of Strategic Importance (ROSI) initiative will deliver targeted upgrades to the Carnarvon Highway and surrounding roads.
As part of the Townsville to Roma Corridor Upgrade, the Carnarvon Highway (Injune - Rolleston) intersection with Arcadia Valley Road will be upgraded.
