Carnarvon Highway (Surat - Roma), replace steel culvert

The existing steel culvert, just east of the Surat township, will be replaced with a reinforced concrete culvert. It will improve safety, network efficiency and contribute to the economy and regional growth.

The works will be delivered through the Queensland Economic Recovery Strategy: Unite and Recover for Queensland Jobs package, a package of works that will deliver targeted upgrades to many roads across regional Queensland in response to COVID-19.
