Fitzroy Developmental Road (Bauhinia - Duaringa), progressive sealing
This project will improve safety and all-weather access by widening and sealing a critical section of the Fitzroy Developmental Road.
The department will seal and widen about 6.45km of the road as well as improve drainage, realign a section of the road and install new signage.
The section of road between Bauhinia and Duaringa is 103km long, 76km sealed and 27km unsealed, and is the key connection route for local communities.
