Fitzroy Developmental Road (Taroom - Bauhinia), progressive sealing

This project will improve safety and all-weather access by widening and sealing 3 critical sections of the Fitzroy Developmental Road.

The department will seal and widen about 15km of the road as well as improve drainage, realign a section of the road and install new signage.

The section of road between Taroom and Bauhinia is 114km long, 16km sealed and 97km unsealed, and is a key connection route for local communities.
