Maleny – Kenilworth Road (Cambroon), various locations, widen pavement
The department is progressing with design work to widen and seal 2 sections of Maleny-Kenilworth Road in the Conondale and Cambroon areas to provide a sealed lane and shoulder in each direction.
The project will improve the safety of all motorists on this section of road, which is used by residents, tourists and a local school bus route.
The proposed design will ensure motorists will not have to use the gravel shoulder to allow oncoming traffic to pass in these areas.

- Widening and sealing a 2.8km section of the road south of Lees Road, Conondale, to the Goades Road, Cambroon, area near Cambroon Creek.
- Widening and sealing a 1.1km section of the road either side of the Booloumba Creek Road intersection at Cambroon.
- Linemarking, delineation and signage.
- Vegetation trimming/removal for improved safety and visibility.
