Maleny – Kenilworth Road (Cambroon), various locations, widen pavement

The department is progressing with design work to widen and seal 2 sections of Maleny-Kenilworth Road in the Conondale and Cambroon areas to provide a sealed lane and shoulder in each direction.

The project will improve the safety of all motorists on this section of road, which is used by residents, tourists and a local school bus route.

The proposed design will ensure motorists will not have to use the gravel shoulder to allow oncoming traffic to pass in these areas.
