Through the Mount Lindesay/Beaudesert Strategic Transport Network Investigation we have explored the transport needs for the Mount Lindesay Beaudesert region for the future.
Results from the study have assisted state and local governments planning for the Mount Lindesay Beaudesert area, including the Mt Lindesay Highway upgrade program.

Current Status
Following completion of the Mount Lindesay/Beaudesert planning study by the Office of Urban Management and release of Amendment 1 to the South East Queensland Regional Plan 2006-2026, the Mount Lindesay/Beaudesert investigation commenced.
At the time, the study was coordinated by the Department of Transport and Main Roads with the involvement of the TransLink Transit Authority, the Department of Infrastructure and Planning and local councils. The study was released in 2009.
