Nicklin Way safety and capacity improvements Koorin Drive to Mooloolah River

Improvements to Nicklin Way to increase capacity and improve safety for all road users are complete.

A shared bus priority and bike lanes on Nicklin Way at Minyama have been built. This has improved bus travel time, reliability and bike rider safety. As part of this project, both directions of Nicklin Way from Koorin Drive to the Mooloolah River bridge crossing were resurfaced creating a smoother ride for all road users.

Key features

  • A new shared southbound bus priority and bike lane on Nicklin Way between the Mooloolah River bridge crossing and just south of the Jessica Boulevard intersection.
  • Dedicated on-road bike lane on Nicklin Way from Mooloolah River bridge crossing southbound to Koorin Drive and northbound between Lutana Street and Mooloolah River bridge crossing.
  • Resurfacing both directions of Nicklin Way for a smoother ride for all road users.
