Philip Street Duplication Project

We are widening the last remaining 2-lane section of Philip Street. This will improve traffic flow and road safety for all road users.

We will deliver approximately 900m of 4-lane divided carriageway along Philip Street and a new signalised intersection at the Philip Street and Reef Street intersection.

  • pavement drainage upgrades  
  • new signalised intersection at the Philip Street and Reef Street intersection

  • acceleration lanes at Trinity Place and Hibiscus Avenue.
