Rockhampton-Yeppoon Road, strengthen pavement
Pavement strengthening and resilience upgrades will be delivered to a 3.7km section of Rockhampton-Yeppoon Road.
Rockhampton-Yeppoon Road is a regional road linking the Capricorn Coast, including tourist locations such as Great Keppel Island, to Rockhampton and beyond.
The road forms part of the designated state freight network and fulfils an important role in supporting defence, forestry, freight, tourism and commuter traffic demands in the region.
Rockhampton-Yeppoon Road is also a B-double route with more than 1390 heavy vehicles using the road every day along with more than 11,000 other road users.
